Umpqua Community College - 5/3/2011
The teachers, for the most part, are excellent -- friendly, well- qualified, sensitive to student needs, and quite dedicated, especially for a community college staff. The Snyder Hall instructors are my favorites! The college has recently undergone an administrative change which reflects the community's desire for a well-rounded institution sensitive to the plurality of student needs. In the past, either technical programs were ignored or were funded at the expense of transfer programs The pendelum is swinging back now to a more balanced approach of funding to assist students who want a technical preparation and students who want choices that prepare them for a full bachelor's degree. The school is in a really beautiful setting, too!
